Fluorosis Example 3-4

Example 3

There is some fluorosis in these centrals – as well as brown stains caused by bacteria collecting
in small surface enamel defects. These stains can be removed (usually quite easily) by a dentist or Dental Therapist.

Example 4

Fluorosis is evident on these upper teeth. The soft brown (vertical) lines are bacteria collecting in enamel cracks. Don’t worry, enamel cracks are very common – but they must be monitored by regular visits (six-monthly or annual) to a dental office.
